To dream that you are in an auditorium, indicates that there is something that you need to learn from others. Pay attention to those around you.

To see your mother in your dream, represents the nurturing aspect of your own character. Mothers offer shelter, comfort, life, guidance and protection. Some people may have problems freeing themselves from their mothers and are thus seeking their own individuality and development.

To dream that you are searching for something, signifies the need to find something that is missing or needed in your life. The dream may be analogous to your search for love, spiritual enlightenment, peace or even a solution to a problem.

To dream that you are walking down a flight of stairs, represents your repressed thoughts. You are regressing back into your unconscious. It also refers to the setbacks that you are experiencing in your life. If you are afraid of going down the stairs, then it means that you are afraid to confront your repressed emotions and thoughts. Is there something from your past that you are not acknowledging?

Interestinnng jumble of a dream today. I don't have the time nor the ability of coherency to describe the whole dream. But there are key parts and general or specific descriptions I do want to write down for the sake of remembering. In other words, it will be written in one giant rambling paragraph [or a few] and lacking some better grammatical fashion as usual when writing about dreams.

It started in a small school auditorium that couldn't fit the right amount of people to begin with. It contained children of all ages and apparently adults as well. My good friend, her husband, her sister, and her mother were there with me. Eventually where in some other room/place that still seems to be associated with the school. My mom is there, and it seems she's a caterer there or something. Either way she worked in some way there. She was in a good mood and I was happy to see her. There might of been a pool in the middle of this room at some point, or I could be getting that confused with another part of a dream. Either way there was definitely a step down area. Later on, after talking to my mom she pointed out one of the teachers that was supposed to be her superior who was sitting on a couch against the wall in the distance watching us. I found him intriguing and decided to turn a little bit of my charm on from the distance. I did something to my hair and then stood up straight. The next thing I remember is actually setting in what looks just like a part of my house. I was in the dining room and adjacent to it is my living room. The living room consisted of very young children. I was helping watching the children and then walked out of the room. One little boy followed me. He was short enough in the sense that he didn't look the appropriate age to be able to walk. He also talked perfectly fine and with intelligence. And he was adorable. I knelled down and asked him why he came over here. He simply said, "because you left." He even had a tone that inferred what he meant, being that he wanted to be with me. Within this time another version of himself came and stood next to him. Eventually there were 4 of him. Standing in a row facing me. They were completely at ease with the fact that there were multiple versions of each other and so was I. In the dream I knew exactly where they had come from. There were two sets of two, each from a slightly different time [hence the "time travel" dream interpretation provided above]. The original set were a little shorter, and the newer set being slightly taller. They all wore the exact same thing and had the same amount of intelligence and high level of comprehension. More words were spoken between us that I don't entirely remember. But we basically decided that I was going to take the original child with me, just to carry him. Then I told each of the last 3 versions of him where to go so we could put them back in their appropriate positions in time. They followed my command with ease and total submission. I then picked up the boy and he wrapped his legs around my waist. I walked past my living room and found out that teacher I mentioned earlier that was watching my mom and I was there watching the kids.

The next scene did involve a pool. Some familiar feeling makes me want to say at some point in this dream that I was talking to a friend about how I would want a darkly colored, perhaps marble or granite, lined rectangular pool and have it filled with dark water. There was a mini discussion there. But this pool that I was standing over now was different...I think I saw 2 or 3 different pools in this dream. There were some people standing or hanging out around the pool, no one was swimming. I believe my mom may have been here too. Eventually, for whatever reason I decide to swim in it. I was having a great deal of fun and wasn't swimming in a typical way at all. I would get on the little sidewalk surrounding the pool next to some people and talk to them and then slowly but gracefully fall into the pool and then swim around in that same matter. As if like a mermaid. As if like I was floating in space without oxygen. I did this several times and I have a feeling my mom was catering/working in this area too. Because talking to people there was essential, we needed to get them to do something I believe. When I finally got out of the pool, I realized as I was dreaming that I wasn't wearing a bathing suit. But my own clothes. I don't know if I had a shirt on or a bathing suit top but I do remember I had a skirt and underwear on. As I got out, I lifted my skirt up and squeezed some water out of it while revealing my underwear and my ass in a careless but erotic way. This whole pool scene could of been somewhere else in the dream...this is the coherency I'm lacking because some of the order of things is lost on me.

Next was another auditorium, and I was carrying that child with me the entire time. The auditorium/amphitheater/arena was very large, but still intimate. It had a circular shape, a main stage in the very center at the lowest point, while the rows of seats gradually angled upwards. The auditorium was filled already and me and a small group of people are walking in, towards the stage. I remember looking up and seeing a light show of a sort I've recently experience in my waking life. A friend of mine that I've often dreamt of lately, NI, was in charge of the lighting in my dream. And in real life he owns one of the coolest projecting light things I've ever seen. It displays stars and nebulae across the surface of an entire room. It's absolutely gorgeous and captivating. This same effect was present in the auditorium. I remember looking up at it with glee and trying to look around the whole place to find where NI was. More lights and effects were going on as well, as I was constantly scanning the place to find him. As we approach the stage some announcement was made about 6 or so of the individuals being the "actors" and then there was an applause. I was special enough to be on the stage, but not as special as the others. Still carrying the child, we start to walk off stage and sit down. An older woman, perhaps a teacher offered to take the boy from me. Although I really had no problem keeping him with me, I did hand him over. I sat somewhere further up the stairs. There was then an announcement, for whatever this whole event was supposed to be, for certain named sections to move somewhere else. I was included in this and proceeded to walk around the auditorium. There were a lot of children, especially in front of me and I was making sure they weren't falling down or getting left behind. Then I woke up.

So basically, a lot of auditorium action, affiliations with school, my mom, pools, and kids. Just the other day I even dreamt again of a baby boy. Spring time of last year this happened to me a lot, dreaming of children and usually always being boys. My aunt was talking to me last week again about the fact that I don't want kids and what not, and I told her that I often dream of little boys and she said somewhat excitedly but teasingly that maybe my first child will be a boy. As for the pool and my mom, that makes sense. I saw and talked to my mom within the last week. I also spent some time with a friend by her pool the other day. The lighting and auditorium stuff kind of and kind of doesn't make sense to me. But it does seem to happen on multiple occasions lately...
