It is such an interesting concept. Granting a death row inmate a choice of his or her last meal. I looked a little into the history of it today, while it makes sense now, I didn't expect it to be something that went back so long ago. Now every place has their own regulations for last meals, some places don't do it at all. For example Texas stopped once some guy took advantage of ordering a shitload of food only to later say he wasn't hungry. Which to be honest, I think is brilliant.
Anyways, to get away from the dark and political aspect, you can actually see a list of requested meals from inmates in history. Wikipedia has it's own entry. I started thinking about this because I watched The Life of David Gale, I've always love that movie, and damn I love Kevin Spacey! To get to the bottom line, if you were to be executed tomorrow, what would your last meal be?
If I were to get executed in Arizona, I would request a number 2 with beef from any Caramba location. That is 2 shredded beef tacos, beans, rice, chips and a shitload of their salsa and pico de gallo. Top off with a large Coke. I can't get enough of it.
