Working It

As I feared, I owed the IRS over $900 due to my independent contractor job doing respite care. Fortunately, I was prepared but still hate seeing my savings account dwindle just a bit more. However I am making more each month due to additional customers with my dreadlock business, picking up more hours with my respite job, and having the paychecks for another job be just monthly so it allows me to save it more rather than spend it.

I also got approved for a credit card and found out I have really good credit. This is awesome news especially when I was expecting to have absolutely no credit. This credit card will merely be a help in building my credit by buying gas and paying it back right away. It will then be emergency money if I don't already have it in my savings.

I'm still researching apartments and have a loose goal to move out in May or so.

In hopes to relieve my anger and issues with my school job. I've had interviews lined up at two different schools. I had one phone interview so far and will find out about that by this week. We'll see how that goes. My coworkers now know that I'm plan on leaving. Of course, they don't know they are the reason why.
