Closer Yet

After a long adult conversation with my best friend I am convinced that I can get an apartment on my own now. I recently got offered to move in with an acquaintance in a few months, which would be awesome but after thinking and talking a lot about it I have decided not to do that, but I still have to tell her the news. I need a place to myself. All to myself. I really need that. And that is what all my work has been geared towards.

In the meantime I have finally applied for a credit card because I have absolutely no credit. Now is a time I start. I'll find out if I have been approved within 30 days. I hope I get it. My friend educated me a lot on all the major things I need to know and will be of help if I ever need it.

I don't plan to move right away, and I'm still on the waiting list for the place I ultimately want, however I did find another place that I need to reserve as well. Still in the waiting game, but while I'm waiting I am going to continue to save as much money as I can. I'm also waiting til my taxes get done so I can find out if I owe a lot or not. I fear that I will be owing a lot. I've even picked up more hours with one of my jobs starting this upcoming week that will bring in more income to help with the saving. I'm very excited about that and feel more confident about my funds.
