Last September I made a
post about a site called Badass of The Week, in which I stumbled across and read about the
glory of Nikola Tesla. But today another favorite web author of mine, The Oatmeal, created a wonderful comic about
Why Nikola Tesla Was the Greatest Geek Who Ever Lived [intro of comic is shown below]. The comic gave me goosebumps throughout reading the whole thing.
This also brought me to another post from a couple years ago, leading me to realize that my grandmother who recently passed away shared the same birthday with Tesla, July 10th. That day is also Nikola Tesla Day. I'm soooo celebrating that. Perhaps I'll go and purchase
this and
this.
P.S. I just bought the Tesla > Edison bumper sticker. Woo!
