Draping is an act much like Planking or Tebowing, which I have recently written about as well. This one, is related to Don Draper from the Mad Men series. Needless to say, I'm loving it. This involves sitting on a couch, or whatever, with your right arm extended, replicating the trademark image of the show and cover art for the DVDs.
Check out the original Draping site. Below are some examples from the site.
The cool thing about these Draping photos is that they're more aesthetic. Not ridiculous, and usually dangerous, as Planking. They're not nearly as funny as Tebowing, in my opinion, but still amusing none the less. The images show more sophistication, as appropriate for the show itself. What also intrigues me most about these photo submissions is seeing the various 'fancy' living rooms a majority of these people have. It's like visiting many homes and experiencing it with them. I guess it's some form of non-traditional photography that places you there with them. This is especially so because you never see the faces of these people, very nontraditional.
