I've been having adventures the past couple weeks. It's been really interesting, but very fun.
The 25th of last month was my best friend's birthday and we went out. We had our share of sake and took a trip to my regular bar, made the regulars' night more interesting, and took a final trip to a 24 hour Mexican food place. Things get interesting when you have a designated driver.
Next, that weekend me and the same friend went out for another friend's birthday get together at some super douchey sports bar. We still had a blast and the same designated driver to put up with us again. We ended the night with some more Mexican food, where the cops had to break up a fight inside. We don't know what happened but the wait for the drive thru was quite long. Ha.
This week involved a couple more adventures with the same friend. We went to First Friday in downtown Phoenix. Had our little adventure of art, food, and beer.
And finally, last night we went to Ethos. I had a blast and am sore from dancing the night away.
With all the Virgo birthdays coming up, I know these adventures aren't over. It's only the beginning. Tomorrow my friends are having a Labor Day Meatfest. It's been quite awhile since we had a Meatfest, so I'm looking forward to it. If I haven't described it before, this is when we all gather with our own drinks and side dishes and/or dessert at the designated Meatfest house and a shit ton of meat is cooked. Dirty jokes always ensue, especially when there's so much meat. Heh, it's always a lot of fun.
Not to mention it's another one of my best friend's birthday tomorrow.
Next is my cousin's birthday in almost a couple weeks. He's planning to see Alestrom before celebrating at our regular bar. Alestrom is apparently a Scottish pirate metal band. Depending if I have money then, I'll go see them too. With a description like that, how can it not be fun?
