Life's Soundtrack

Brand spanking new playlist is officially and finally up!! This is the one I've been working on for a long time now. It is currently present in the sidebar for [hopefully] more convenience. Remember that this playlist does not have an shuffle option, nor does it automatically play, therefore you must click it to play.

Now, I hope to the spaghetti god that you guys appreciate and enjoy this. Let me go through the long and tedious process of when I build a playlist or compose a mix CD. It's not something I take lightly.

I like to put together a group of many songs that I currently like and then build upon that. I create a mood that goes up and down but flows smoothly. Such that slower songs trail into each other, then the mood can uplift to something faster and gradually to heavier music. Then the playlist trails back into the slower stuff, up and down, up and down. Not only does that exist but I literally listen to the beginning and end of each song [if not, the entire song] to make sure there is a good flow between the end of one song into the beginning of the next song. It's easy to briefly describe all this in a paragraph but the reality is that it is very time consuming. Even more so since this new playlist has literally over 500 songs. I couldn't stop myself, I just kept going and going. I finally had to make an end to it although there are so many other songs I could add and probably will add over time. Also take into consideration that although Grooveshark has a very vast array of available songs, there are still some that are not, thus this playlist does not represent the full extent of my music taste.

So please keep all this in mind and don't ignore the playlist. Enjoy it. Love it. Look through all the songs even if you don't listen to all of them. Let me know how you like it.
