I cannot dictate if it is my mood or what, but this article touched me. And I read all of it!! Usually I'm hooked into a lot of news but my attention span actually cuts me short. It's not that I have a short attention span, not at all, but I really don't particularly care for spending so much time online anymore. Which I tend to think is a very good thing. That's honestly why I tweet anymore. It's more of a bookmarking of things that I find interesting but don't have the time to read completely at that very moment. So I eventually blog about all these links and then, THEN I plan to actually thoroughly read the articles.
However, tonight there was an article [with gorgeous photos] that I read all the way through. I have to share it because the first few entries actually touched me, and more so lately. Here are ten places in the United States that are great for eating and watching the sunset.
The San Francisco tidbit was probably my favorite. Not only was the photograph so typically "city-scapish" but it brought me to the organic city and ruins that I tend to be fond of. A lot of this likeness draws from my favorite film The Crow. Which the second sequel is setting in L.A. and has city scapes quite similar to that entry but during night time and so on. But there was more of a story to it, something that got me hooked.
This all, my mini-background story, may not be important but I find this article to be quite amazing. However, I do apologize if this article lacks sense, for I am caught up in a mood. One of which isn't uncommon in Alchemy, but still one I feel the need to announce in case.
Not only that, but there are some other entries that touched me. AND! Furthermore, I had a slight annoyance with it as well. This brings me to a quote, of which I cannot recite properly, about art. Something about art that can provoke a response, whether good or bad, is still amazing because it can have that effect. It's wonderful. Thus, my annoyance with this article, despite all its beauty, is that it only focuses on locations accompanied by major bodies of water.
I live in Arizona where the sunsets are known to be absolutely incredible. Not only is this known, but is utterly true. My eyes have experienced some of the most intense beauty, that of which never loses its intensity. Needless to say, I'm disappointed that other locations that aren't surrounded by water didn't get a mention. Because Arizona truly deserves a mention, especially with all the countless conversations I've had with natives and non-natives about Arizonian sunsets, and even with individuals that have a distaste for the state [which there's quite a bit]. This state still holds a beauty. One that I can never let go of. One that I will never let go of.
