Plenty of Fish

I had an interesting but difficult to explain dream. So I'll just explain the minimum, the main interesting elements.

I was in some sort home, it had at least two stories. I was up in the top/second floor and there was this very large aquarium containing fish. This aquarium was some how on some sort of rolling/spinning thing. It's really hard to explain, but let me give you a funny analogy. If you've ever watched The Price is Right, then this comparison should help. In the end of each episode, the two competitors get to spin the wheel, the way that moves and how you operate it is very similar to how this aquarium maneuvered. It would spin down through an opening in the ground while more would come down from the ceiling. It wasn't just one aquarium either, but several separate ones each with fish in them. Not only was the aquarium incredibly interesting, the fish were too. For all I know I could of dreamt about fish that really do exist, but maybe not necessarily ones I have seen before. A lot of them were really large, there may have only been a handful of smaller ones. But all the large ones were big enough to be viewed as somewhat dangerous. I never really knew for sure if they were but I was close to finding out. One of the tanks of the whole bunch came open somehow while I was doing some sort of routine check up. The water spilled out on me and a large fish came out too. Some how there was enough water in the room for the fish to still swim fine, and for me not to drown. The fish was following me, nearly attaching himself to me. I was pretty scared because I was really unsure as to what he could do. But nothing happened, although this incident was really brief, it was disrupted when the other person that was there came up stairs to help me. I think we managed to get the fish and water back in. That's really all I remember. Just the fish, they were so interesting and beyond my ability to explain them in writing. And, you gotta admit, the aquarium is badass!

To see or clean a fish tank in your dream, indicates how you have full control of your emotions. You keep your feelings in check. If you are watching the fish in the fish tank, then you may feel that your life is going nowhere or that you are going in circles with your life.

To see fish swimming in your dream, signifies insights from your unconscious mind. Thus to catch a fish, represents insights which have been brought to the surface. Alternatively, a fish swimming in your dream may symbolize conception. Some women dream of swimming fish when they get pregnant. The fish is also an ancient symbol of Christianity and Christian beliefs. Consider the common phrases "like a cold fish", "fish out of water" or something that is "fishy" about a situation. It may also imply a slippery or elusive situation. Perhaps your dream could be telling you that "there are plenty of other fish in the sea", with regards to some relationship issue. [That's hilarious! Last night my cousin was just telling me about how he is on the dating site called Plentyoffish.]

DreamMoods also has interpretation for specific fishes, but I have no idea what those fishes in my dream were.
