Companionship

So while studying for my test today, I came upon a huge realization. I was reading about parenthood and the decisions and reasons involved with being a parent or being child-less [or the more preferred term, child-free]. One of the many pros/reasons for having kids is that unconditional love bond, to love and to be loved. As soon as I read that I thought about all the dreams of children I have been having lately. And I realized it was never necessarily the kids that I wanted [because we all know I don't]. It was that companionship, the love, the bond. My subconsciousness knew before I really did that I have been craving that bond.
