Movie Splurging

So Broken Embraces, Spanish independent film starring Penelope Cruz and Lluis Homar. The main character, played by Homar is a film director who gets into a terrible car accident killing his girlfriend and causing him to lose his sense of sight. Initially I was curious about this film due to my intense fascination/appreciation for the senses and people who lack them. But also, because it was a love story of some sort. I guess I still have that in me. It was a pretty intense film, very captivating.
Sherlock Holmes, well I have seen that twice now. It's pretty awesome and I'm excited to see what they will do next. Robert Downey Jr. will never cease to amuse me, especially his English accent which I've come to learn is a bit hard for me to decipher. I also just learned that he has the same birthday as Heath Ledger. April 4th. And is also married to a Scorpio. Ha! I'm getting ahead of myself.
There's still quite a few films I'd like to see. Most are in the three dollar theater currently. I need to get onto that. I also saw the ending of the trailer for Iron Man 2. Holy fuck, I'm excited! Mickey Rourke! Scarlett Johansson! Samuel Jackson!
