"You Got Fucked By an Oven Full of Witches? "

Yesterday was pretty awesome, watched 3 movies. Jacob's Ladder...holy christ! Four Rooms, finally! And a cute but sad foreign film Life is Beautiful or La vita è bella. Jacob's Ladder, I don't even have words for it. However, Tim Robbins was amazing. I was amazed throughout the entire film the genuineness of his expressions. His smile simply evoked this total realness to me. I especially appreciated his emotions in the film. Which leads me to mention how increasingly annoyed I've been with the fakeness of emotion in especially kissing and even touching in films. They touch each other with this obvious awkwardness. You can tell they're trying not to invade someone elses space too much and it annoys me. I've always had this kind of voyeristicness when watching films that involve any sort of intimacy. And now that I'm older I see more and more simply how NOT hot these scenes are. They're not really enjoyable at all. Ok, let's just smash lips together, breathe, and move our heads side to side while keeping our lips in the same position. Very sexy. Every once in awhile you see a real kiss or a hint of one, that's always nice. I mean, if I'm gonna be paid to kiss someone, I'm gonna really kiss them! Come on now! Which brings me to Four Rooms, I love Tim Roth so much more now. He did a ridiculously good job and constantly made me laugh. His kissing scene was much better than those in popular romance films, in the sense of lack of fakeness at least.
Movies make me happy.
