When I drive short distances I just listen to the radio; which can be very annoying. I've noticed that I have less patience and interests in popular music on the radio. Which leads me to a really odd metaphor...that at least makes sense to me. Music is like beer...or at least my situation with both is kind of the same at the moment. I feel like my taste in beer and music has "sophisticated" over the last couple years. For example, a special person opened me up to more instrumental bands which I'm obsessed with and I just have an attraction to "talented" epic music or something. As of beer, I can't drink Bud Light, or even Rolling Rock. Sam Adams has satisfied me lately and that's all I can drink. 3 Doors Down was playing on the radio on my way home; a band I once enjoyed, which now I can't stand.
That's my thoughts on that at the moment.
I'd like to end this day with info about the film The Family Stone. This movie touches on some excellent issues dealing with Deaf culture, it's pretty amazing and a recommended film in my opinion. Tyrone Giordano is a Deaf actor who attended the popular Gallaudet University. Very impressive.
