Today is International Women's Day. Which makes me think it's just a tiny bit ironic that I saw Hall Pass today.
The movie is pretty ridiculous, as expected, but not too over the top. I especially loved the scene in the legendary Applebee's where they're all full and drunk with wine stained lips. So silly. Another thing that made me giggle uncontrollably like a nerd [SPOILER ALERT!] was the intermission scenes to tell what day it was. The screen would briefly go black and say "Day 1" or "Day 2" and so on. But the best part was they used that trademark Law & Order sound, as you hear in the video below. I love that sound.
I absolutely love chugging milk.
Check out more fun dirty photos on As My Junk. And the same people behind that and Lamebook also started Winning at Everything which started because of Sheen. Freaking Charlie Sheen is taking over the world!
Here's a note from Trent Reznor about working on the soundtrack for the American version of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and his How to Destroy Angels project. I personally am not very thrilled about the American version but knowing Reznor and Ross are on the music aspect, gives me something to look forward to. Speaking of which, I finally picked up reading the book again. I started when I finished school and then gradually stopped, and now I'm back to it. I'm glad I am too. Now back to the films one bit, I would like to dedicate an entire post to the series eventually but I wanted to make a little note while I'm at it. Yes, I've seen all three of the Swedish films, plan to watch them again very soon. But with my exceptional observation skills I believe the Swedish actress who played Lisbeth Salander did in fact get all the piercings she wears in the film. Which I think only adds dramatically to her dedication to the films [much more on this later]. Now, after going through Google Images, I'm noticing the American actress playing the same character [picture to the left] has made some changes to her appearance as well. I'm delighted by this. The eyebrow piercing is at least real from the little I have seen. For now I will greatly appreciate the original girl, Noomi Rapace.
