Due to the anxiousness on my and a friend's part, I thought longer and harder about who I know that has a spare laptop that wouldn't mind letting me borrow for a couple weeks. Luckily my exboyfriend texted me yesterday while I was thinking about it, and shortly the light bulb appeared. He has a laptop, a very nice one actually, which he never/rarely uses. So I have a temporary replacement until whenever I buy a new one! I'm so thrilled to have this opportunity. It brings me a bit more ease in my life. And damn is this computer fast and smooth. My laptop was such an oldie, she was good to me though. We had a connection.
Needless to say, blogging action will be in full force! Be expecting a bit too much content in the upcoming 24 hours.
Here is a lovely photo of the moon over the Parthenon. This is relevant because as the full moon arose yesterday, it had one of its famous illusions of appearing ridiculously large. Not only was the illusion present, but last night the moon was actually in lunar perigee. This means that the moon was the closest to the earth at this day, as it happens once a year. There is also the opposite, lunar apogee, where the moon is the furthest from the earth. Ah, how I miss astronomy. Unfortunately it was actually totally cloudy here in Arizona so we did not get to witness the beauty. Last but not least, today is the vernal equinox, first day of spring! Fascinating as today we will have equal day and equal night, further adding that the nearly full moon will rise. It's still cloudy here...so we may miss it again.
