365 Days

Today my brother has been sober in Alcoholics Anonymous for one year. Today I'm attending one of his A.A. meetings for the first time. I'm handing him his 1 year chip. I couldn't be more thrilled and emotional.

And finally a sober picture of us together...

Congradulations...It is a very special thing to share I remember when I received my ! yr. token I was so pumped i thought i would never make it but Like were all told we get a year like the man sitting next to us gets 30yr. one day at a time it is very emotional feeling just to think back on the harm and hurt we had caused our family through out our addiction...just to feel emotions again and thought it seems as if it doesnt pay off at times remember u can burn a house down in hours but it takes time to rebuild it....Remember Humility is the key and acceptance is the answer to our problems today and that we must focus on what not needs to be changed in the world but as in what needs to be changed in us and our attitudes and we are the cheif critic...BE strong and as always , Stay true to thy self!!!!
