Influential

Gonna stuff this post with current informational stuff. Again, I must reiterate that I use my twitter to bring quick and easy attention to interesting articles or events of which I later blog about the clump of them.

About 5 days ago, I read about something that disgusted me to the core. You probably have heard about it by now, especially if you have a facebook, but here is the article about a man who was bashing the recent suicides due to sexual orientation bullying. That man has stated he would resign, thankfully, here's the HRC article for that. And finally, in regards to relevant information of this paragraph, check out and sign the petition for putting an end to bullying at school. Currently the petition is less than 300 signatures away from its goal. And yes, you can choose whether your name can be viewed publicly on the petition.

Here's an interesting article about the elections today.

These awesome drawings are skeletonized cartoon characters that my osteology professor shared with us for fun.

Jon Stewart is more influential than Obama according to the list of 49 most influential men.

As from my Women in Other Cultures class, an article about the Kenyan government working to reduce death rates during childbirth. Finally below are some interesting powerpoint slides from the lecture on motherhood for this class. It's pretty awesome that I found a super convenient way to post these from the Mac at school.

I think I'm good for now.

2 days til my birthday!! Woooo!!!
