I found this article from a rather awesome anatomy and art blog that I need to spend more time following. The article is about a young woman who lost a portion of her face due to an impact by a 12 gauge shotgun 11 years ago. She lost her eyes, nose, and parts of her cheeks. She recently got a prosthetic face that is not quite like anything else. This story is amazing."I see an art project...part chemistry."
