Ulver

So I'm totally zombierific today. It's quite amusing. I have gotten less than 5 hours of sleep last night, not to mention I haven't had quite a full night's sleep in the past 2 weeks or so. And generally for good reasons, but regardless, I'm looking forward to summer time sleeping in. I stayed up til about 3am to study for my finals for today. I got my philosophy of art final over with and didn't quite do as good as I could of but I'm not too worried about my grade for I've done excellent in the class so far. In about an hour I have my last final. This is actually the least amount of finals I've ever had in one semester, only 2. My Courtship and Marriage final shouldn't be too hard, I'm not worried although I do need to finish covering some of the material before the time comes. As for the High Infidelity paper I did, I got a 19 out of 20 on it, so that's awesome! I will be able to pick up my paper after the final and see whatever comments he wrote on it [if he did, so I hope].

I must say, while I'm sitting here at the ASU computer commons, I can see into a classroom in which my previous sign language teacher is being an ASL interpreter for. Pretty cool. Meeting is over, now I see two other sign language teachers...one of which was in a recent dream I mentioned.

Despite the low hours of sleep, I did have an interesting dream. To make a long story really short, I was in a forest with two other apparent friends, a guy and girl. The three of us were trying to get to the other end of the forest, I don't know what was there, but our lives depended on it. There were a ton of struggles along the way, including very large and vicious wolves that were mostly detecting motion rather than sight or smell. I figured that out and when we would see wolves approaching I would inform the rest to stay incredibly still even as the wolves are directing in our faces...eventually they would go away. Towards the end of my dream some other sort of struggle was going on, it almost seemed like the forest was working against us. And one or both of my friends started a fire that began to rapidly burn that area, and then I screamed, "Own the forest, bitch!!" Just in a tone and inflection that I often do in real life, with great emphasis on 'bitch' which is one of my favorite things to add to the end of many of my sentences. There were other side details and occurrences which have slipped my mind, but shortly after that my alarm clock woke me up. And at one point, at least while a wolf was intensely close to me, I noticed latex gloves on my hands for whatever reason.

To see a wolf in your dream, symbolizes survival, beauty, solitude, mystery, self-confidence and pride. You are able to keep your composure in a variety of social circumstances and blend into any situation with ease and grace. You are also a loner by choice. Negatively, the wolf represents hostility, aggression, or sneakiness. It may reflect an uncontrollable force or situation in your life.
To see a white wolf in your dream, then it signifies valor and victory. You have the ability to see the light even in your darkest hours.
To dream that you kill a wolf, indicates betrayal and secrets being revealed.
o dream that you are in or walking through the forest, signifies a transitional phase. Follow your instincts. Alternatively, it indicates that you want to escape to a simpler way of life. You are feeling weighed down by the demands of your life.
To dream that you are lost in a forest, signifies that you are searching through your unconscious for a better understanding of yourself.
To see the woods in your dream, represents life, fertility, rejuvenation, and spring. Alternatively, it symbolizes the unknown and unconscious. You may be discovering your instinctual nature.
To dream that you are walking through the woods, signifies your return to an aspect of yourself that is innocent and spiritual. If you are walking out of the woods, then the dream could be a literal depiction of being "out of the woods" or being in the clear.
To dream that you are lost in the woods, indicates that you are starting a new phase in your life. You are expressing some anxiety about leaving behind the familiar and what you know.
To see dried up, dying woods in your dream, suggests that there is a situation in your life that has not yet been resolved. You may also be overwhelmed with a problem or issue.
Depending on the context of your dream, to see fire in your dream can symbolize destruction, passion, desire, illumination, transformation, enlightenment, or anger. It may suggest that something old is passing and something new is entering into your life. Your thoughts and views are changing. In particular, if the fire is under control or contained in one area, then it is a metaphor of your own internal fire and inner transformation. It also represents your drive, motivation, and creative energy. Alternatively, the dream may be warning you of your dangerous or risky activities. You are literally "playing with fire".
To see or wear gloves in your dream, represent the way you handle things. You are getting a handle on a problem or you are being overly cautious in some situation. Alternatively, wearing gloves may mean that your creative abilities are still latent. You need to acknowledge and express that creative side.

Considering this wolfy forest dream and the vampire dream I had not too long ago, I feel like I'm reliving Twilight in my dreams or something. Ha! Which is kind of funny considering my thoughts and wonder of how the author's dream(s) inspired the books actually occurred have been resurfacing. Oddly enough, of the many things people may want to discuss with Stephanie Meyer, my only desire is to hear everything about the dream(s) in which inspired her. Which makes me now, have a great to desire to know about the dreams of any celebrity, artist, whatever! That is definitely one of the top things I could converse about forever.
