Affinity

Dreaming about empathy. Empathy has been a theme of my days lately. I'm an insanely empathetic and compassionate. This I have always known, but now I have been bringing it up in conversations more than ever as well as it was a topic of my philosophy of art class the past week. Empathy and deep love has occurred in two dreams lately and were both towards children or a specific child in each dream. Both of which were special in some way. The first was a mentally challenged child possibly with Down's Syndrome. The other was a infant that began to grow in front of my very eyes to a child old enough to stand on his own. But this child was smart like an adult and could speak perfectly clear like one although he did have an interesting speech and mouth possibly one that shares resemblance to that of physical/mental challenge also. I really want to find better words than "challenged" I hate the spectrum of words that make up the "disabled" and "handicap." They make me cringe inside.
