Vulnerable

Lately I have had my mp3 player and headphones attached to me. It's been helping me sleep the past few nights. And so far two instances occurred that make me laugh to myself. Yesterday it took me a minute to realize that I had brought it in with me to the bathroom. It's no big deal but I have not done that in a long time and it wasn't necessary. And this morning I woke up with my headphones practically glued to my ears. I drunkenly fell asleep with them on. Not only is that funny, it's even more funny because I don't remember putting them on. I remember everything else about my night but that. Win?
I have been particularly listening to "Golden Grounds" by The Gathering, which is indeed within the top 10 songs on my playlist. There's something amazing about listening to it without my hearing aids that I basically can hear more. It's so intense my heart and breathing rate coincide with the melody. Damn, I love this shit.
This video is one of their other songs that I love, "Herbal Movement." You can skip through the first minute. Her voice is just so goddamn amazing.


Yesterday was pretty vulnerable for me, thus nonetheless interesting.
I dreamt that I got shot in the back a couple times, yet again! It woke me up with that same paralysis feeling that actually almost slightly felt like pain. This is particularly interesting because it is in the back. Kind of like back-stabbing.
To dream that someone is shooting you with a gun, suggests that you are experiencing some confrontation in your waking life. You may feel victimized in some situation.
To dream that you are injured, suggests that you need to work on healing old wounds and hurts. You need to stop and slow down. Consider where or how you were injured for further significance.

Also, I was thinking the other day, if I had a facebook, my current status would be "Trying to figure out why I have a bruise on my stomach." Twister maybe? I don't know but it's one of the weirdest bruises I've ever had.
