The Interworkings

I wonder if people employed at fast food restaurants are required to learn the Heimlich maneuver.
Just in case.

If you were to ask me, "Is it really hard to pick up the phone?" my complete honest answer would be yes. Aside from other variables I have mentioned before, additional ones include the fact that I have to be in an absolutely quiet environment. I also cannot quite multitask while on the phone because it takes so much concentration and effort to hear and understand people on the phone. I mean, I could multitask but then I won't really be listening to the speaker. So as I've consistently said, I'm a busy person, I just don't have the time to call people. Yeah, I text, a lot, but I'm so fast at it that it's as if I don't even do it. And of course the convenience of being able to text in just about any situation/environment.

I have a lot of difficulty falling asleep and staying asleep. And I know a lot of it is because of you.

Curling is the only sport that I have watched of the current Winter Olympics.

I never really realized the fact that I am in the minority due to my living with my father, as a single parent that he is.

I love how when you Wikipedia different sterilization methods they show more pictures of the procedures done to women. I will not provide links or pictures since some of you would prefer not to see that. Hell I don't really want to see that, although I intensively study anatomy and other such procedures. That's a discussion for another day. Anyways, it's almost like it serves as a prevention for women deciding to get a tubal ligation or hysterectomy. The Wikipedia articles for men's vasectomy you get to see a guy's post-surgery bruised balls. That's just a difference I felt was significant to make note of. Although I did find out about a newer procedure for sterilization of women that is the least invasive, Essure, I promise the link has no photos.
You may be asking yourself why I have been looking at this stuff in the first place. Well I have considered getting the procedures done myself. I have no means to offend anyone here, but that is my choice and you can make your own choices. I have a friend who got a vasectomy last year and his insurance covered all but 20 dollars of it and the healing went quite fine and quickly. Then I went to research the procedures for women which are much more invasive, complicated, and longer healing periods. Not really something I want to do, but Essure is something I would consider. More time must pass as well as research for Essure to become more or less of a success.

In the days of the New England colonies severe punishments were enforced for those participating in sex but even more severe punishments were done to those who engaged in adultery, some even sentenced to death. Damn! Just imagine what adultery was like in those days. It's a shame people do it.

Today whilst at work an old woman was outside of the grocery store, which is in front/next to my store, bleeding profusely. I don't know why she was bleeding but I doubt she was assaulted considering the reactions of the people helping her including the fire department and the grocery store clerks. My theory is she had some sort of recent surgery and the wound opened up. The wound was at the top of her chest which caused blood to completely drench her shirt and create a puddle on the ground near her feet. She refused to go to the hospital. Some may feel an outburst to that piece of information, but you have to keep in mind that you have the right to refuse that option as well as the right to choose to be resuscitated or not. DNR anybody? I completely understood. She actually seemed quite fine, should could of been in some sort of shock or even partially senile. But I was watching the entire hour or so that they were out there, the moods of all the people involved. It was very calm and they mostly were cleaning the blood everywhere and covering her wounds. The ambulance was there but she refused to get into it. She was able to walk, because finally when her ride came, she walked to it. I even saw her get a little sassy with some of the men, still refusing to go to the hospital and whatever else. So some of the happenings are still a mystery to me but one of the guys from the grocery store is an acquaintance so I shall obtain some information from him eventually. Definitely made my work day more interesting.
