Here's a lesson for the day, hypermobility or commonly known as "double-jointedness." I just found out with the help of my two friends that I have hypermobile thumbs [one of which shows a great fascination with my hands]. I've always known my thumbs were freakishly long, but never knew that the movement of my thumbs were unusual. My thumbs can bend in a perfect right angle, so I can make the perfect shape of a gun with my hands. It's more so the opposite of a hitchhikers thumb. So, upon that realization, I realize that I also use my hands differently, especially my thumbs. My thumb flexibility allows me to greater access technology, video games, cell phone texting, and all the dirty implications that everyone likes to mention. And well, compared to my cousin, my thumbs don't look large at all. As I always tell him, nothing looks big compared to him. Heh.
Ah, gotta go to work.
