όνειρο

I believe the other day I dreamt about cuddling with Sparky, something that I have so direly craved since his absence. But in the dream, I did know, as usual, that I was dreaming. So I tried to take advantage of something that I could never have the opportunity to do. That's also a first, me controlling the events of a dream. I sniffed him, I inhaled his scent. But. I smelled nothing. Smell is not a sense I really ever have in dreams, but I tried, regardless of how disappointing I felt. That dream was the most I've ever been so intertwined with. Like there were two me's. The subconscious and the conscious actually working completely together, equally. So it was a double blow when I smelled nothing. Both sides of me were equally sad. That's when the realism of my dream can be a bit hard to deal with, but I guess, in the end, I wouldn't want it any other way.
Today I had what I think is the most epic dream I've ever had. Unfortunately it's more private than I'd like to share. Part of it involved a friend of mine and a crazy man who held me hostage by a bomb who closely resembled this actor, who often plays crazy characters. Michael Shannon, you may have seen him in Revolutionary Road or the film Bug. It wasn't a scary dream at all, just very very different. It spanned across several days and in two locations. I need to write it down somewhere else before I forget. Gotta study, my final is tomorrow morning!
