Good!
Er..I mean it was good. I enjoyed the film very much. Decided to spontaneously go see it prior to studying since I had a few bucks left on my giftcard. Money well spent. I got the same adrenaline rush as I did actually being at a derby show. I gotta say, I just fucking love the atmosphere! And hence, the style. It puts me in a different world, kind of this "I don't give a fuck" world. I found it interesting that they had two deaf characters who were completely silent during the entire film. The film was also based on the novel Derby Girl, which I am now interested in. I do love me some Ellen Page as well. And of course the lovely beautiful Zoe Bell! You gotta love her! I'm done writing and drooling about beautiful women.
It's kind of funny the things that come up when you do a photo search for "Whip it" in Google.
Oh and while studying at the library something interesting happened. I usually sit in front of a large window overlooking the grassy park area. I tend to stare out the window more than anything else, but today I saw a guy and a girl walking up the grassy hill with a bag of blocked ice each. I knew what was soon to happen. They went down the hill on the ice blocks. I was amused and officially distracted.
