Art of Dreaming

Today and yesterday I dreamt briefly about something in regards to art. Yesterday morning the art part of my dream was that I was a painter and I may have had a gallery in which I saw my paintings, or a party at a friend's house in which my paintings were up for a sort of formal viewing. I had a different style from what I have now, except I still used a lot of colors. I cannot explain in writing what the general style looked like. This morning my dream had a part where I was staying at a friend of my dad's house out of town. He had a really cool and huge house. It had random technology and decorations that made it seem complex, but was rather simple. There was a corner of a room which had a LCD projector that played little video clips of various things. A lot of those things were different artists' work. He played the work of Dali, so it was pretty much a slideshow of his work, but the projector's images were actually 3-D in ways that I can't quite explain either. But I do know that a lot of the art I saw wasn't anything that, in reality, represented Dali's work. It was surrealistic, yes, but none were obviously the same. I did see a piece that was in the style of cubism and I became very inspired. We then went to watch a film that may have been artsy, for I don't remember the film itself but the fact that I really enjoyed it.
