I'm sweating my ass off right now. I just walked to Mill Ave to get some lunch and then headed to the closest computer commons. While I was waiting in line for an available computer I saw caveman walk in. I immediately walked out and now just got to a different but much farther computer commons. Caveman, well, let me tell you a little story. It seems every year I was having a "stalker" here on campus, now I just have stalkers in general whether it include the ones on campus or not. Caveman, although a nice guy, I have no intentions of speaking with him. I had physics with him fall semester of 2007. During that semester I had a boyfriend, my last one in fact. Caveman always sat next to me, if not, near me. This class had about 300-500 other students. Caveman looks like a caveman, that's why I gave him that name, which he knows none of. His real name is Zach. He also kind of looks like a chubbier Val Kilmer but with sweaty thin brittle long hair. He knew I had a boyfriend and would often ask me about myself and him, he even offered for us to come out to play extreme frisbee with him once. He made me a mix CD, which I still have. I wrote "Caveman Mix" on it, so I know. I let him borrow Batman once. He had compared me to the singer of...damnit, what was her name!? Nightwish! He asked me if I had any Finnish in me and I said no, which is what Tarja Turunen is. He also showed a lot of curiosity of what I looked like without my septum ring. One of our last days of class he found me afterwards, which he always did, and gave me The Book Of Mormon. I honestly thought it was a joke and threw it away as soon as I left. That day I even gave him some book of Hindu or something like it that some man handed me on the streets of Tempe. I was only returning the joke, so I thought. On the last day of class, which is when we had finals he got out early but waited outside for me, for who knows how long. He then asked me if I looked at the book he had given me, I lied and said I haven't gotten around to it yet. I come to find out that he had written on the inside of it and even gave me his email address which he hoped I would use in the future. I felt pretty guilty and horrendously curious. To this day it will be an ultimate mystery what was said in that book. I've seen him on campus several times since but usually avoided him at all costs. The semester afterwards we always seemed to cross paths around the same time and place so I know he saw me but actually got the hint not to approach me apparently. Maybe because I never emailed him. Jebus.
It's always funny because I would try to make it so he couldn't sit next to me but even in such a large class my hair always gave me away. Always. I can't say much because he was nice, but I just had no interests in talking to him or anybody for that matter. It takes a lot for me to actually have the desire to talk to other classmates. I'm not here to make friends, never have been. I tend to think of myself as a one man wolfpack. Hehe. So yeah...fun stuff.
