I watched that Hostage video three times today and it's still hilarious. I'm gonna have to watch it again to cheer me up for my awesome mood of today was murdered by work. Let me tell you about it.
Well a couple days ago I got an email from my former coworker whom I'm still good friends with that my current coworker has accused her of stealing some fund she had for her kids. First of all, I think it's bullshit and she even told me she didn't do it. I know she wouldn't lie to me and I've been quite fed up with this current coworker anyways. I wasn't looking forward to seeing her tonight, and I wasn't planning on bringing up the situation unless she did so first. I basically had minimal contact with her during the first couple hours of my shift. Finally she brings it up, as expected, she likes to talk about herself and her problems a lot. Part of my build up of irritation with her is due to this. So I told her how I felt about it, that I don't think she would do that and blah blah fucking blah. She's convinced otherwise and I can tell she's getting a bit defensive about it. I resume to working while she continues her lunch break. She proceeded to ignore me for the rest of the shift, which wasn't too different from how it was prior to her bringing it up. I'm pretty sure she's mad and I find it horribly unprofessional for her to bring other people at work into this. I know she told another coworker and I don't doubt she told our manager. I'm fucking tired of drama. I really am not looking forward to working at all.
Now that the mood killer has been described, I'll continue with more brighter news. I have completely forgotten to share the news that douchebag coworker, whom I've written about before that gave me a taste of discrimination at the workplace, has finally quit! He's gone, gone, gone. I'm excited but now there's two more that should be gone at this point. However, an awesome girl whom I worked with at my original store is going to be working at my current store! I dearly enjoyed working with her and missed her very much when I transferred. She stopped by today, so I saw her for the first time in months. It's kind of funny because a few days before I found all this out, I went to visit my original store only to find she and any of the other original employees were no longer there. So that's good news. In addition, I sold the most discount cards last month, and received a prize from my manager of a 10 dollar Harkins giftcard. Woo!
I saw something ridiculous today on the way to work. As I was driving down a residential street I noticed a car was going very slow. When I passed I saw it was a girl with bright red lipstick taking a picture of herself making a kissy face while driving, with her phone. Wow.
People hurt my brain, now I must go study.
