On another subject, I was passing some time and easing some boredom by looking through a new magazine at work. Just beauty magazines, pictures of celebrities and tools. Human tools, that is. After you get past the pictures of celebrites with their names written all over the place you reach the pages of hair models. As I was skimming through the pages of countless nameless women's hairstyles, I thought to myself, "These people don't have names, they just have faces." They are no one, just tools.
I've always found myself overlooking the actual hairstyles and mostly looking at these faces, or even more specifically, their eyes. That seems to be all that I really care about when it comes to those damn magazines.

That's what modeling is. You are a showcase for someone else's work. Sometimes a well paid showcase. Photoshoots can be agonizingly long, especially if you do it on a regular basis. Like most jobs, I assume all you want to do is just get through it and get paid...on the other hand, some actually care about what they project with their bodies/faces...sometimes they're noticed but there's so much competition in the modeling field. If you don't have an unusual look with a particular body shape/frame..you're not noticed on that stature alone. How sad.
