Population of the Artists

Last night I was thinking about the diversity [from physical to emotional] amongst the boyfriends I've had. They range in many different areas, but there was one thing they all have in common. Although I've always known that they are all always musicians, something I can't seem to escape. I also realized that they were all artists too. [Non-musician artists, that is.] Those two things are the main consistency in what I seem to date, the only concrete thing to my "type". However, this doesn't happen purposeful. It just happens, I don't look for it.
I also realized something else about myself, about what kind of artist I am...if I have to put a label to it. I am a psychedelic artist. I know that some of my work is very psychedelic but then I come to think about all the eye paintings I've done, those are all incredibly psychedelic! My use of color clearly gives away such qualities. I'm immensely fascinated by the psychedelicality of things, yet I've never used psychedelics.

Some of what brought this on was different features on my deviantart account. There's a long but not extensive list of options to say what you are in the deviantart community, Artist: Painter, Artist: Cartoonist, Deviant: Cheerleader, Deviant: Angelina Jolie Fetishist, Writer: General Poet, just to name a few. I've changed mine a few times for I can't find anything that quite...fits. But Psychedelic Artist actually fits like a glove, brings a smile to my face.
