Summer School

I'm an idiot. I never took classes during summer mostly due to the fact that I didn't know anything about getting financial aid for summer semesters. Luckily for me, my newest coworker worked in financial aid for several years before while in college. He shared his knowledge with me which inspired me to sign up for a couple classes. I'm, at this moment, enrolled to take an online religions class in the first month of summer and an on campus forensic anthropology class for the last month. I'm actually looking forward to it. First of all, I will continue to be mentally stimulated this summer. Secondly, the forensic anthropology class isn't generally available, so I'm excited! Third, this bumps 6 credit hours off of the 48 I have left. And finally, I got financial aid to cover it. Unfortunately it's all only a loan, but all the other pros outweigh this, so I have to go for it. I want to try it out, I still have time to cancel it if I choose to. As of now, I'm doing it and I'll probably do so next summer as well. I feel good about this.
