 I realized today, as cynical as House is, he still always wants a person to live. A friend of mine reminded me that he always has to be right. True. But I find his character very contradicting [still not very different from people in reality, however]. This desire to save people and convince them to live is probably the most optimistic outlook one could have. I may not be the most cynical person out there but I wouldn't have the eagerness to convince people to live. That's just me.
