Death is the Road to Awe

Five stages of coping with death:
Denial
Anger
Bargaining
Depression
Acceptance

I went to a funeral home a month ago for a class assignment. I had a great time, for if it isn't obvious yet, I am utterly fascinated by death and how people view and deal with it. But of many things the biggest and most vital thing I did learn from the visit was pre-planning. If you are reading this, please think about planning for your death. It's inevitable, you are not going to prevent it forever. Create a will. Decide what you want done with your remains and your property. Declare what you want done to you in hospital or health care situations, do you want life support, do you want to donate organs? What do you wish to be done? Figure it out. I'm pretty sure you don't want your family to have to figure it out for you when your gone and deal with your death as well. Not a good idea, at all.
