Perception

For the longest time I've always wanted to befriend a blind person. Or anyone with the lack of a sense. I just want to hear how they talk about the world. I want to hear all about the way they describe things, their passions, their views. My heart is racing with emotion as I think about this.

Perception is a big thing to me. I know my mind so much but when it comes to other peoples' perceptions on things and on myself included, it fascinates the hell out of me. I could ask them "Why?" all night, just to hear their thought process. I always thought my mind was so foreign from others, still do. It's just the way I process, the way I see things and I know my hearing has a lot to do with it. I took on a deeper meaning from one of my favorite quotes from the book Twilight, "Sometimes I wondered if I was seeing the same things through my eyes that the rest of the world was seeing through theirs."
