Speechless

I can't explain the amazing feeling I have when I get the chance to help out a customer that is deaf, being able to understand and communicate somewhat in their language mends that strong separation from the hearing world and the deaf. An interpreter or friend isn't needed, they don't have to write things down, they got me and I can help them out just fine. Those are the customers that mean the world to me, because they are truly grateful for the little things I can do for them. I am not saying that deaf people need help. I am saying that expanding your awareness and linguistic abilities makes life more easy for everyone and brings unity. Learn Spanish, learn French, learn German, as long as you can use it and have some knowledge of that culture. American Sign Language is my second language I chose to use from here on.
