Social Conducts

It irritates me when people don’t carry out the proper etiquette of communication. When people don’t even care or listen to the words and breath that you direct towards them; that, by far, is my ultimate biggest pet peeve. I am also not very fond of the way that just about every hearing person automatically assumes that every person he or she speaks to can hear perfectly fine. The way they speak to you without facing you. The way they mumble or talk too low. The way the cover their mouths with objects while speaking. The way they react when they find out they are talking to a hard of hearing or deaf person. Then the way they talk loudly and slowly like talking to a child. The way they don’t understand at all.

Social conducts have been slowly going downhill anymore. Not only that, but human intelligence. What happen to the wise words of wonderful minds? Has everyone decided to talk like this: ne hw r u? I'm fyn, my mom S a btch thO. Ive 2wrk n an hour, dats sux. wel ttyl. No! I will not do that and make myself look like an idiot like the rest. I’ve lost a considerable amount of faith in the future of mankind and all that has been built before us. Communication and language is a significant part of our culture and our kind, this behavior is deteriorating our status and image as intelligent beings. Evolution is probably disappointed in us by now. We are only making stronger machines rather than strengthening ourselves. Soon we won’t be able to do anything for ourselves. Survival of the fittest, right?
